I had the pleasure of representing Lost in Reviews at the world premiere of Predators in Austin, Texas. This was my first red carpet event, so if I stumble a little in the video, it’s because I was truly nervous as heck.
It was a small red carpet right outside of the Paramount theatre. Not too many news outlets were there. It is really hot and humid in Austin and Dallas right now so everyone was sweating profusely, myself included.
I was able to interview Charlie Boswell (worked on the technology used, from AMD), editor...

Interview: Play in new window| Download
Recently, I had the opportunity to talk with the Director of the upcoming film Splice, Vincenzo Natali. It was a fun interview and I hope that you enjoy it as much as I did participating in it.
Ryan: I have been looking forward to this movie for a long time, and even after a week it’s still sticking with me. Was that your intention for the film?
Vincenzo Natali: Yeah, I hope this is a movie that gets under your skin. Absolutely I’m very heartened to hear that.
R: I know it’s been...

Scroll to bottom for audio. I sat down with director Chris D’Arienzo and Chloe Sevigny to talk about the new film Barry Munday. This was Chris’ directorial debut and Chloe Sevigny was one of the stars of this brilliant comedy. Previously, Chris has worked as a screenwriter, and Chloe Sevigny has been in many movies such as American Psycho and television shows like HBO’s Big Love. You can read my review of Barry Munday here. This interview was what is called a round-table interview, in which other critics/reporters...

I was given the opportunity to interview Floria Sigismondi for her directorial debut in the new movie, The Runaways. Previously, her work has consisted of music videos and photography. Look for our review on the film here. This interview was what is called a round-table interview, in which other critics/reporters and myself try our hardest to confuse and embarrass the talent we are interviewing. Just kidding, you will hear other voices though, that I can not name. For the sake of continuity, all questions asked by others...

Andrew Bowser is not only the Director, but also the writer, editor and star of the excellent new film, Jimmy Tupper vs the Goatman of Bowie. I had the luck of seeing this fun experience of a film at this year’s SXSW festival. Afterward, I just had to talk to Jimmy Tupper himself about the amazing ride that this film takes you on. Enjoy!

While at SXSW, I had the opportunity to catch a screening of Haromny Korine’s latest Trash Humpers. You can read my review for the film by clicking here. The film has left a mark on my mind that almost three weeks later can’t be shaken. A few days after screening the film at SXSW I had the great fortune to sit down and discuss Trash Humpers with it’s Writer, Director, Actor, and Cinematographer, Harmony Korine and get some insight into the film.

When we started Lost In Reviews, the name came out of an admiration for all things Bill Murray. We have loved him in everything he has been involved in, but mostly, we admire his Indie career. Movies such as: Broken Flowers, The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, The Darjeeling Limited, The Royal Tenenbaums, Rushmore, and of course, Lost In Translation. It was always a running joke that if we ever had the chance to interview, or even meet Bill Murray, we would shut the site down, because where can you go once you have reached the...

Lost In Reviews was given the opportunity to quickly interview the talent walking the red carpet for The Runaways. It quickly became chaos, but the most fun kind of chaos you can have. As the interviews began, Travie McCoy joined the red carpet, from Gym Class Heroes and his new project, Travie McCoy and the Lazarus. He spoke with us about why he is excited about The Runaways, his new album and who else to check out at SXSW.
Next we spoke to Kim Fowley, the manager of the first all-girl rock band, The Runaways. He spoke to...

I was given the opportunity to interview Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning for their upcoming roles in the new movie, The Runaways. Look for our review on the film later. This interview was what is called a round-table interview, in which other critics/reporters and myself try our hardest to confuse and embarrass the talent we are interviewing. Just kidding, you will hear other voices though, that I can not name. For the sake of continuity, all questions asked by others will be known as Reporter, and then there are a couple...

Lost in Reviews was invited to partake in a round table Q&A on Friday with Director Pete Docter, and Co-Director Bob Peterson of this summers Up which hits DVD and Blu-Ray November 10. Being the day before Halloween some of the questions got a bit festive as the Pixar duo were in costume and started ribbing each other about their costume choices. They also previewed one of the bonus features from the dual disc DVD and 4 disc Blu-Ray release; a featurette titled Adventure is Out There. It follows the creative team of UP as...
