I am not much for these teases of trailers, but the clip of the second trailer for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 actually shows some new footage not seen in the previous trailer. The full trailer will be released on Tuesday, so come back to Lost in Reviews then to get your fill.
The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 is in theatres November 18, 2011. Less than 70 days . . .

Hey it’s a new cop drama. Wait, no, never mind it’s a show about Grimm’s Fairy Tales. Um nope wrong again it’s both. Yeah that’s right I said both. I don’t know if David Greenwalt and Jim Kouf are brilliant or crazy. We all know that cop dramas are television gold these days. However genre television, while often fanyboytastic and convention friendly, are often where ratings go to die. So maybe by bringing the two together NBC has found a loophole, maybe.
Grimm stars...

CBS is not the channel that is known for taking chances. Frankly I consider it a freaking miracle that shows like How I Met Your Mother and The Big Bang Theory ever made it on the air, let alone were given the chance to become legen-wait for it-dary. Let’s face it Rules of Engagement is more CBS’s style when it comes to comedy. Heck even Mike & Molly isn’t one of those shows I would expect to air on CBS. So imagine my complete and utter non-surprise (had you fooled there didn’t I?) when...

This is the first trailer for Melancholia. The film is directed by Lars Von Trier, who caused quite a stir at Cannes when he made comments about Nazis and Hitler at a press conference. There is video of the conference if you want to search for it. One good thing did come out of Cannes. Kirsten Dunst won the Best Actress Award for Melancholia at Cannes. The film also stars Charlotte Gainsbourg, Alexander Skarsgård, Charlotte Rampling, John Hurt, Stellan Skarsgård, Udo Kier and Kiefer Sutherland. It is kind of cool...

Killer Elite is a spy, killer for hire, revenge film. It is the first film that will be released under the new Open Road Films distribution company. The film is full of testosterone and stars Jason Statham, Clive Owen, Robert De Niro, Yvonne Strahovski, Dominic Purcell, and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje. The film is based on the book and true events described in The Feather Men by Ranulph Fiennes.
“Based on a true story, Killer Elite races across the globe from Australia to Paris, London and the Middle East in the action-packed...

The first look at The Hunger Games premiered tonight at the MTV Video Music Awards. This is the adaptation of the first novel in The Hunger Games trilogy. Like Twilight, the series is a big deal. The books are huge and the casting process was highly anticipated. Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, and Liam Hemsworth were cast as the three main characters. The cast announcements that followed for the other characters revealed a great supporting cast with Elizabeth Banks, Woody Harrelson, Stanley Tucci, Donald Sutherland,...

Fireflies in the Garden is a film based on a poem by Robert Frost. It focuses on a family through the children as they grow childhood to adulthood. The film’s main character is Ryan Reynolds who is making a dramatic turn in this film. No snarky comedy from him in the trailer. The film also stars Julia Roberts, Willem Dafoe, Hayden Panettiere, Emily Watson, Carrie-Ann Moss, and Ioan Gruffudd. I really liked the trailer, and the music that was used toward the end of it. Looks to be a tear-jerker and will hopefully...

I have missed posting a lot of trailers lately, so I am putting them all in a large post. I have included the release date, the synopsis, poster, and the cast if they are available. This has amounted to twenty trailers in one post. I think if you watch every single one, you should be pretty caught up on the trailers that were released in the past couple of months. Some of these trailers are from independent films that you may never heard of. If some of these trailers do not work, please let me know so that I can update...

The Rum Diary is a film that was made some time ago. It stars Johnny Depp and is based on the novel by the late Hunter S. Thompson. Johnny Depp was a good friend of Thompson and previously played a character from another one of his books, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. It has been a long time coming to the big screen, and it seems we are finally near since this is the first trailer that has been released. The film also stars Amber Heard, Aaron Eckhart, Giovanni Ribisi, Richard Jenkins, and Michael Rispoli. The film...

This is an international trailer for Drive. I am pretty lucky to have seen this film already, and I interviewed the director on Monday. Both the review and the interview will be posted in September, closer to the release date. Trust me. You will be blown away by the film, and this trailer is a great glimpse of what you will see. The best thing about this trailer? You get a taste of what the music is like in the film. The song at the end is in the film and is called “Nightcall” by Kavinsky.
“Ryan...

Comedy is hard. Good comedy is even harder. As Will Arnett can attest considering he spent a few weeks last television season trying to convince America that Running Wilde was not only a good show, but a funny one as well. Which as we all know was not the case. This fall he is back and this time he brought along proven funny women Christina Applegate (Samantha Who/Married with Children) and Maya Rudolph (Bridesmaids/Saturday Night Live) in the new NBC comedy Up All Night. Applegate and Arnett play new parents Reagan...

Underworld Awakening is the fourth film in the Underworld series. Although, the last film was a prequel. The only original cast member who returns is Kate Beckinsale. The other castmembers are Stephen Rea, Michael Ealy, Theo James , India Eisley, and Charles Dance. I wish Scott Speedman was in this, but he is not. I do like the part in the trailer where Selene asks where Michael is. I have always found these films entertaining, but not great. I do not think this one will fare better than the others.
“UNDERWORLD...

Trespass is another home invasion thriller starring Nicole Kidman and Nicolas Cage. I think the pairing of the two is a little odd, but they are both Oscar winners. It looks interesting, but it does not say much about the movie when they have it on demand the same day it comes into theatres. Trespass also stars Ben Mendelsohn, Cam Giagndet, and Liana Liberato and is directed by Joel Schumacher.
“In a private, wealthy community, priority is placed on security and no exception is made for the Miller family’s estate....

The Woman in Black is a horror/thriller film that stars everyone’s Harry Potter, Daniel Radcliffe. This is Daniel’s first foray into films post-Harry Potter. The trailer is excellent. Who does not think toys coming to life spontaneously is not scary. That woman in the window . . . well, I might not be seeing this by myself or at least any majority of the film since my eyes will be closed. It looks to be a scary, well-done film. Daniel Radcliffe looks very un-Harry Potter like, which is good. The film...

I grew up as a kid in the 80′s and early 90′s. There are some movies that are sacred. They make you remember a certain part of your life. I am not saying that Footloose was that for me, but man, I remember jamming to that Kenny Loggins cassette tape. I do not really agree with remakes of classic films. I never ever want to see a remake of The Goonies or Labyrinth. Hollywood seems to be on a remake and sequel streak that has no end. The “new” version of Footloose stars Kenny Wormald, Julianne...
