What could be cooler than taking control of your favorite super heroes and beating the snot out of unsuspecting bad guys?! Well, it would be an original concept if they’d never made the first Ultimate Alliance. This new supercharged adventure has everything you’ve come to expect from Marvel’s series of beat ‘em ups: super powers, super villains, super tight clothes and super gruff voices, but they forgot the super fun.
Ultimate Alliance 2 does have a few changes from the first one, but the biggest...

The newest edition to the Harmonix music-game empire is The Beatles: Rock Band. Boasting not only popular songs from the influential British band, but audio-samples, behind-the-scenes photos, and videos all previously on lock-down from Apple Corps; it seems that The Beatles: Rock Band should be an instant winner. Unfortunately, only hardcore Beatles fans may actually think so.
Instead of creating a player and beginning a career that takes you all over the globe, TB:RB has introduced a Story Mode. As Harmonics and MTV...

Before you get to angry from the title, hear me out. I’m a Halo fan, I’ve beaten every Halo game on Legendary up to this point, I’ve read the books, and for the most part, I’ve loved everything about it. You could imagine that, like any Halo fan, once I got my hands on ODST, I was jumping up and down like a little girl. The trailers did everything right and the new Firefight modes looked totally awesome. Unfortunately, Bungie failed to let us know that we would be paying $65 for half a game.
I don’t...

Official viral news on the ‘interwebs’ today is that Sam Raimi has signed on to do a film adaptation of the compulsively obsessive PC game, World Of Warcraft or WOW for short.
For those of you who still value your lives in the real world and don’t know what this game is, it is a massively multiplayer online role playing game (MMORPG.) The game came out in 1994 and now sabotages the lives of 11.5 million suckers every month. …

In an interview with VideoGamer.com EA Games Europe vice president Patrick Soderlund Said, “You will see another Mirror’s Edge for sure”. “It’s just a matter of when that time is and what we do with it.” We have a small team on it, and I’m excited about what we will do.” Being as Mirror’s Edge was in my opinion one of the best games of last year, I was surprised that it only sold a little over 250,000 copies in the US. It had a better showing in the UK but still was thought...

Most gamers who are in at least their early 20′s will tell you that the most fun they had in 1996 was spent in the dark and under the covers. No, Leisure Suit Larry fans, not like that. I am talking, of course, about Capcom’s release of Resident Evil, and the late night dares from your friends to play it with all the lights off.
13 years, 11 new systems, and 6 games later, we have come a long way from 32-bit zombies and typewriter ribbons. Here we are with the latest installment, Resident Evil 5, and this survivor-horror...

Being a girl, there really isn’t a lot of games that peak my interest for long periods of time. I’ll play a little “first person shooter” every now and then but I’m not into “R.P.G.s” (role-playing game), and I’m definitely not into the “MMO” games (massive multimedia online). Then these rhythm games come along and all of the sudden, everyone’s girlfriends and moms are taking over the Xbox 360.
Guitar Hero World Tour is the third installment from the franchise,...
