30 Minutes or Less is a comedy revolving around a pizza delivery boy (Jesse Eisenberg) who gets reeled into a plot to rob a bank. His best friend (Aziz Ansari) also gets involved to help him out. The criminals are played by Danny McBride and Nick Swardson donning chimp and gorilla masks. 30 Minutes or Less is directed by Ruben Fleischer who also directed Zombieland (Jesse Eisenberg was in that as well). If you have not seen Zombieland, do yourself a favor and rent it now. It has one of the most epic cameos in any movie....

I am late on posting this trailer, but 50/50 looks like a solid dramedy starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Seth Rogen. The film is based on the true story of screenwriter Will Reiser’s battle with cancer. Rogen and Gordon-Levitt play best friends who have to deal with Gordon-Levitt’s character being diagnosed with cancer. Rogen of course provides most of the comedic moments in the trailer. I think it is a really great trailer, and hopefully this movie will appeal to all demographicss. Anna Kendrick, Bryce Dallas Howard,...

Here is another take on the common man superhero likeSuper and Kick-Ass. Griff the Invisible stars Ryan Kwanten (True Blood) who is a superhero by night, but his identity is compromised by a girl he meets. This movie has romance in the mix which sets it apart from others of the same sort of superhero plot. It looks interesting, and I would not mind listening to an Australian accent for a couple of hours.
“The world can make us invisible. Courage can make us incredible. Love can make us invincible. Ryan Kwanten of TV’s...

Fright Night is a remake of the movie of the same name from 1985. A vampire moves into the neighborhood and people start disappearing. This time around Colin Farrell is the vampire and Anton Yelchin plays the kid next door who has figured out who his neighbor really is. Christopher Mintz-Plasse, David Tennant, Imogen Poots, and Toni Collette are in on the fun as well.
“Senior Charlie Brewster (Anton Yelchin) finally has it all–he’s running with the popular crowd and dating the hottest girl in high school. In fact,...

It is that time again. The MTV Movie Awards were going on today, and a familiar part of the show has again surfaced. The Twilight trifecta (Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner) presented the first trailer for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1. There was a ten second teaser of this trailer, but honestly, I did not think it was a big deal. I must be getting burnt out on this stuff. Why tease you with the teaser of the teaser when I can just wait until the day of and give you whole shebang....

The second and final trailer for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 came online today. It is the last Harry Potter trailer we will ever see. Sad, isn’t it? What will it be like to not see Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint on the screen together anymore? I have to hand it to all the people who have made the trailers for these movies over the years. I do not think there has been a bad one. Each one seems to top the previous. I am hoping that is true of the last movie as well.
“In the epic...

Here is an utterly bizarre movie with an equally bizarre trailer. The Last Circus has clowns, war, sex, and murder. The film is written and directed by Álex de la Iglesia, and yes, this is a foreign film. I will just let the trailer speak for itself. Please be aware that since it is a red-band trailer, it is not safe for work or the kiddos.
“1937, Spain is in the midst of the brutal Spanish Civil War. A “Happy” circus clown is interrupted mid-performance and forcibly recruited by a militia. Still in his costume,...

iTunes Movie Trailers debuted the poster for John Carter. Frankly, I had not heard of this project, but the synopsis and the cast list was enough to make me interested now. The film stars Taylor Kitsch, Lynn Collins, Samantha Morton, Mark Strong, Ciaran Hinds, Dominic West, James Purefoy, Daryl Sabara, Polly Walker, Bryan Cranston, Thomas Hayden Church, and Willem Dafoe. Taylor Kitsch is the focus of the poster. With the reveal of this poster, I think a teaser trailer is not far behind.
“From Academy Award(R)-winning...

Warrior is a film involving Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) and stars Tom Hardy and Joel Edgerton. I am not a MMA fan, but the fact that the trailer is fantastic and Tom Hardy is in it is enough for me to really want to catch this in the theatre. A new poster debuted today over at Moviefone, and it will definitely bring some ladies to the movie as well.
Warrior is in theatres September 9, 2011.

Larry Crowne is the perfect counterbalance to all the action flicks out this summer. If you’ve had it up to ‘here’ with all the loud, 3D explosions and epic battles, Larry Crowne is just the thing to refresh your movie palate.
Larry (Tom Hanks) is a divorced middle aged man who dove into retail work after 20 years of Navy service. He is ultimately downsized, given the excuse that because he doesn’t have a college degree, he’s reached the climax of his growth potential at the U-Mart where he works. ...

A Better Life is a departure for director Chris Weitz, who has directed large budget, mass appeal films like About a Boy, The Golden Compass, and New Moon. He chose to helm a smaller movie with relatively unknown actors save one, but he directed a film that has the chance to open some eyes. The theme of A Better Life is a universal one; a father wants to give his son a better life, one that he did not know. The story focuses on Mexican illegal immigrant father, Carlos, played by Demian Bichir. He works as a gardener at...
