Admittedly, the first preview introduced by HBO doesn’t give their new medieval fantasy series much justice. In fact if you don’t have HBO or follow entertainment news there is a good chance you had no idea this show was even being made. HBO’s official synopsis is:
Summer spans decades. Winters can last a lifetime. And the struggle for the Iron Throne has begun. It will stretch from the south, where heat breeds plots, lust, and intrigues; to the vast and savage eastern lands; all the way to the frozen...

Sunday night has become the stand out night for real good TV, a lot of the major networks knowing this have backed off and let cable have it’s day. At first this night was owned by HBO, because its not TV and all and a little show called The Sopranos let all of America into the lives of the mob, even though I loved that show and what it did for television, I don’t think we have ever had a Sunday like tonight. My line up was as followed: Californication, Dexter, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Mad Men, and Entourage. Now I...

There is a new show premiering on HBO this month called, Bored to Death starring Jason Schwartzman that I am really pumped for. Mainly because Schwartzman is awesome and would take advantage of anything he is a part of. Also, there are a slew of other characters being played by some very funny comedians and actors. Ted Danson will be playing Schwartzman’s boss and looks like he just needs an adventure. Zach Galifianakis (The Hangover) will be playing his friend and looks to have a lot of his expected humor. The trailer...

Frenzy, the second to last episode of True Blood’s second season was a series of ups and downs. With the finale just two weeks away, I was really hoping for the knock-down-drag-out show that was hinted at from the phenomenal trailer that we were teased with all last week. But the reality is that, just like in the movie biz, the trailer can be a lot of hype and the actual delivery can leave you feeling a little gypped. Before I delve too deep, let’s hit the recap first.

So last week, episode 8 was action packed. This week’s episode is oozing with emotions! And fans of both the show and the Sookie Stackhouse series will be happy with the events in this show! When I started watching True Blood last year, it quickly became a guilty pleasure of mine. I mean, it’s a little embarrassing to tell someone that your favorite TV show is about sexy vampires, a shape-shifter, and a telepathic waitress. It wasn’t until the second season premier that I realized there was nothing to feel ‘guilty’ about, considering I was one of 5.1 million viewers to tune into HBO to get their fix. …
